Health and Safety Executive First Aid at Work

The HSE approved course qualifies the attended to become a recognised first aider in the workplace. All employers in the UK have an obligation under the HSE First Aid Regulations 1981 and Approved Code of Practice (ACOP L74), to make adequate and appropriate First Aid provision for their workforce. It is recommended that someone is able to undertake First Aid Duties at all times when people are at work.

Who should attend?

Any person applying for a SIA licence in “Close Protection” will require the fist aid certificate. Any Door Supervisor looking to expand their job opportunities and to increase their chances of promotion and employment of higher paid jobs. Any member of staff who is nominated the First Aider in the workplace - or who want the most comprehensive introduction to First Aid.

Which Course will be the right one for me?

Presently we run 3 levels of First aid course these are:

First Aid at work

This complies with current Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981

Assessment is continues throughout the course, with a final practical test by independent assessors. Successful candidates will be awarded the HSE First Aid at Work Certificate (valid for 3 years).

First Aid at Work REFRESHER Course

For those who already hold a First Aid at Work certificate that is about to expire. To attend this course the candidate certificate should be 'IN DATE' for the duration of the course. Assessment is continuous and a final practical exam by independent assessors.

Successful candidates will be awarded the HSE First Aid at Work certificate (Valid for 3 years).
